Early lifeEdit

Balgosta was born on March 17, 1962 to movie director Frederick Balgosta and actress Elizabeth Falyewe. His parents moved frequently during his childhood, due to his father's work and his mother's roles in his films. He made a cameo appearance in one of his father's films in 1974. Balgosta graduated from high school in 1983.

Balgosta is considered to have begun his acting career in 1984, as not many people know about his 1970s cameo appearance. He made his starring debut as the title character of the film Tylous, which premiered in theatres in December 1984.
