The Grand Catalonian Empire, also known as the Empire of Grand Catalonia, the Grand Catalonian State, the Grand Catalonian Monarchy, Grand Catalonia, or simply Catalonia, is a country located off the northwestern coast of the Grand Empire of Monarchies. It is an island country spanning a archipelago including Great Catalonia, Castillian-land, and several smaller islands. The Empire is surronded by the Atlantic Ocean, the North Sea, the Irish Sea, and the Grand Catalonian Channel.
Grand Catalonia is a absolute monarchy comprising of two governorships: Main Catalonia and Castillian Catalonia, both of which are divided into four provinces each. It is governed by a sort of imperial absolutist government with it's seat of government in Imperial City. Both governorships and each province have seats of government for their local administrations. The Channel Islands of Casey and Mescky, as well the Isle of Mansland are Imperial Dependencies, linked to the Grand Catalonian Emperor but offically not part of the Empire. The Empire has about six overseas colonies which are not part of the country and are seperately owned and administered by repersenatives of the Emperor. Each of these colonies have seperate legal, healthcare, and educational systems.
