Dragoonasag is a nation located on a land mass called Dragoona. Its capital and largest city is Dragoona City. Dragoonasag's official languages are English and French.

Climate[]

The climate of Dragoonasag varies greatly. Northern Dragoonasag has colder winters and cooler summers. Southern Dragoonasag had milder winters and hotter summers. The lowest recorded temperature in Dragoonasag was -23°F in Lowe Hall, Chaumar, on December 10, 1970. The highest recorded temperature in Dragoonasag was 126°F in Hatoumbez, Sacal, on July 18, 2004.

Dragoonasag has a great economy. It is a leading agricultural and manufacturing center. The nation trades with Yindart, West and East Canipra, New Herswick, and New Calehedra, among other nations. The nation exports products such as corn, wheat, paper, coal, and fruits such as oranges and apples, among other products. The nation is also a leading exporter of automobiles, and is home to a large automobile factory, Kalgarron-Jones Automobiles, which is located near Mistian City, Mylo.

-Dragoonasag was inhabited by various tribes of people called "[[Parkufo people|Parkufos]]" before English-speaking settlers arrived in the 1700s.  From 1702 to 1755, Dragoonasag was divided into colonies owned by other nations.  All was well until those nations began forcing unfair taxes and laws upon the colonies' residents.  By 1755, the Dragoonasag colonies had had enough of the unfair laws and taxes, and decided to fight for their independence.  On May 14, 1755, the [[Dragoonasag Revolution]] began with the [[Battle of Snapshott Valley]] at what is now [[Snapshott Valley]] in [[Vegetano]].  The war lasted until 1769.  On August 23, 1769, Dragoonasag gained its independence.  In 1772, the Constitution of Dragoonasag was drafted, and the site of the nation's capital city was chosen, along the nation's Mistian Coast.  The former colonies became states and territories after the [[Dragoonasag States and Territories Act]] was passed in 1778; until then, these former colonies were known as ''preumes'', from the [[Geounossic Parkufo]] word for "territory".  Dragoonasag's expansion began in 1781, when explorers started exploring unexplored lands, claiming them for Dragoonasag and forcing the Parkufos onto reservations set up by the Dragoonish government.  By 1790, the young nation's northerly neighbor, the [[Maordan Union]], then called ''Maorda'', noticed Dragoonasag growing and asked the young nation to make a trade agreement that would establish relations between the two countries.  Dragoonasag agreed, on one condition, that the Maordan Union must fight alongside Dragoonasag in future wars.  The Maordan Union agreed, only to welch on the agreement later.
