Filmore is a town in the Dragoonasag state of Lohana. It is located in Wassona County. Filmore is located in the Branlin statistical area, which is sometimes considered part of the Carlana West vicinity. Filmore's current mayor is Theodore Sprietzer.
Filmore was founded as Nairstown in 1943. It was a small community until it was incorporated as a town in 1952. The town managed to maintain a small town feel after the construction of Dragoonasag Interstate Route 92 just to the north of town.
Nairstown was renamed Filmore (with one "l") in 1979.
