George is an colony of the Holy Germanian Empire. In 1879, the Germanian South American Trading Company established the fort of St. George along the coast of the country of Branzilla. In 1880, Germania claimed twenty more ports and expanded to include the coasts of eastern Branzilla. In 1882, Germania claimed the easternmost provinces of the Amazon. In 1885, Germania accquired the Branzillian portion of the Rain Forest and annexed the Branzillian dependency of Smaller Columbia. Branzilla was renamed the Lands of George by Holy Germania.
George's major industries are farming, agiculture, forestry, timbering, book publishing, printing, metalworking, merchant shipping, fishing, shipbuilding, electronics production, chemicals production, and food packaging.
