Bedelheim at age 40

George Wilbur Bedelheim (March 13, 1810 — March 14, 1868) was a Dragoonish soldier who fought alongside celebrated war hero Fatjohn Dollouve in the Battle of the Peregos. Born in Salviana, Bedelheim returned to his home state after the battle ended. In 1858, he gave the town of DeCaffee its current name. He died one day after his 58th birthday, in 1868. Fort Bedelheim is named in his honor.
