In 1836 the Government of Jill convened for the first time only months after the founding of the nation. Discussed at the meeting were:

  • The drafting of a constitution to stabilize government,
  • The creation of a road network for easy transportation between the north and south,
  • The construction of ports and other important infrastructural features,
  • The construction of a capitol complex in Port Justin

The meeting took place in Port Justin from January 1, 1836 to March 15, 1836.
