Taccarouma is a town in Vorgett County, Salviana. Located just east of Salviana's border with Carlana, the town is known as a "line town". At the time of the last census, the town had a population of about 572.
Name origin[]
For years, people believed the name Taccarouma meant "flat" in the Pistacchiana Parkufo language, and that the name was chosen for the town because of its location on flat land. In 1954, historian David Dale Haschle came up with a "theory" that the town's name was derived from the Pistacchiana words taakhar ("ground") and rhoumaa ("flat"), thus meaning "flat ground" instead of just "flat".
