History[]

In 1957, all tramways were abandoned and replaced with busways, except for the Cross-River Trams, which were considered an iconic symbol of Theresaville, and the Western Tramway, which was kept following complaints by local MPs and residents.

In 1989, along with the then-new East Theresaville Light Railway, the trams, Theresaville Subway, Theresaville Ferries, Theresaville Airport Monorail, and Central Theresaville Monorail were rebranded under the umbrella brand name, Theresaville Metro. In that same year, all trams were painted lime green, to more clearly distinguish them from red buses from a distance.

In 1997, a new system of South Theresaville Trams was inaugurated.
