Gaito is known for his role as Jacob Waller on the television series Purple Lane from 1993 to 1999 and his role as Michael Catt in the 2006 film adaptation of Cayenne High and its sequels.

Biography

Gaito was born in the small New Herswegian resort town of Sviltris, to Dragoonish parents Stephen and Mary Gaitonnien. The family relocated back to Dragoonasag in 1989, settling in Jord City, Mylo.

Career

Gaito made his acting debut in the spring of 1993, after being cast in Purple Lane as Jacob Waller. He was deliberately credited as "William Allan Gaito", adding an additional "l" to his middle name and shortening his last name, as the showrunner believed that "Alan with one 'l' is good, but Allan with two 'ls' is better" and that "'Gaitonnien' would be hard to pronounce or spell". Gaito appeared in all six seasons of the show from 1993 to 1999. He went on to appear in the 2000 film Jord Duncan and the Six Angry Neighbors, playing Jord's son Cole. More roles followed, including a role as Thad Golfen for one season of the series Don't Hurry Up! from 2003 to 2004 and the lead role in the 2005 film Lucky Zack Kalgarron. In 2007, Gaito was cast as Michael Catt in the film Cayenne High, and he reprised the role in its 2008 and 2010 sequels. He will reprise the role of Michael in a planned film called Cayenne: Ten Years Later. Gaito also appeared in the films 1414 Lonbearrin Drive (2009), Just Asking Questions (2011), You Saved My Life, So I Owe You (2013), Is That Constitutional? (2014), and 1991 in Jord City (2015).
